Designing a Scalable Digital Ecosystem for Auto Tours Global

Auto Tours Global is a travel company specializing in personalized self-drive tours, combining custom itineraries, hotel accommodations, and car rentals. As the parent brand, Auto Tours Global supports two regional platforms: Auto Tours Europe and Auto Tours USA, each tailored to its destination while operating under a shared design system.

This project focused on designing a scalable, conversion-focused digital ecosystem that supports multiple regional sites, consistent layouts and typography, distinct color palettes, and a seamless e-commerce experience — including pricing displayed in multiple currencies to support international travelers.

Key Challenges

Build a Multi-Site E-commerce System

The platform needed to support online bookings, deposits, and payments while maintaining consistency across multiple regional websites.

Balance Brand Consistency with Regional Identity

While typography, layout, and components are shared, each site required its own color palette to reflect the personality of its destinations without fragmenting the brand.

Present Complex Travel Products Clearly

Each tour includes multiple destinations, hotels, and services. The design had to present this information clearly while guiding users toward booking decisions.

Support International Customers

As a global travel company, the websites needed to display prices in different currencies, making costs transparent and understandable for international users.

Design System & E-commerce Approach

A shared design system was created using consistent typography, grid structures, navigation patterns, and reusable UI components across all sites. This ensures a familiar user experience and simplifies maintenance and scalability.

Each regional platform applies a distinct color palette while maintaining the same structural foundation.
The e-commerce experience supports:
